A single-vineyard, terroir-driven Sauvignon Blanc from our prestigious estate. Aged 6 months sur lie, this bone-dry, full-bodied wine is defined by its lively acidity, and rich, floral, mouth-watering flavor. No new oak, and no malolatic influences fog the purity of this wine. Minerally, perfumed with lime, grapefruit, and lemon blossoms, this Sauvignon Blanc is at once rich and creamy, crisp and dry, made from 100% estate-grown, certified organic grapes.
2013 was another great vintage in the Napa Valley. A warm, dry spring got the vines off to an exceptionally early start. No frost, no rain, no unusual heat waves, just endless days of California sunshine with classically warm afternoons and those cool nights that the grapevines adore. Budbreak was early, veraison was early, and the tempo continued right up until harvest. Great quality across the board, healthy fermentations, rich, complex, full bodied wines all across the Napa Valley.
