The 2008 growing season presented certain challenges in the vineyard. Mother Nature delivered an early, dry spring that was followed by significant frosts. Despite these less-than-optimal conditions for bloom, the extreme weather ultimately produced smaller berries and lower yields. As a result, there is a distinctive concentration of flavor in the wine.
