About This Wine:
Ehlers Estate 2009 1886: Bold and expressive, with fat, full tanins that are at once refined, silky, and subtle. Blended from the rockiest, most well-drained parcels of the estate vineyard, this “1886” is a classic, age-worthy Ehlers Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Filling out the layers of earthy complexity and spice are flavors of violets, chocolate cherries, cinnamon and cocoa.
Kosta Olive Oil (375ml): Harvested from the Kosta family’s field surrounding the small mountain-side village of Glykorrizi on the Peloponnese, the Koroneiki olive tree thrives in the warm, dry summer days of this region’s Mediterranean climate. This variety of olive originated in this area and has been grown in Greece for over 3,000 years. Presented with local-made pottery Olive Oil Dipping Dish.
Panevino Breadsticks: No. 6 Sea Salt Grissini are the perfect foil for soft cheeses, salads and soups. Presented in a vase, or tucked into a linen-lined basket, they add both texture and elegance to a well-laid table.
