2007 Ehlers Estate Cabernet Franc

The 2007 Estate Cabernet Franc is one of the best ever from our property. Dominated by a juicy, full-body entry, the wine has a nice minerality in the mid-palate with flavors of black cherries, black raspberries, cigar wrapper, and black plums layered with spicy cola and cayenne. The lingering chocolate-cherry finish rounds out the great structure of this wine.

2007 Ehlers Estate Merlot

This is a complex full bodies Merlot that has the balance and structure to age for decades. The flavors of raspberry and cherry cola, licorice, brambles, mint and black currants adorn this rich and dense expression of our North St. Helena, terroir. This wine has a firm acidity, velvety mid-palate, and long, classic Merlot finish.

2007 Ehlers Estate One Twenty Over Eighty

This Cabernet Sauvignon blend was created to express the broad diversity of our 23 individual vineyard blocks on our Estate vineyard. The name, One Twenty Over Eighty, is the “ideal” blood pressure and is a playful reminder of our unique ownership, dedicated to cardiovascular research. Aromas of cocoa, dark chocolate, high-tone red fruit, lavender, and French plums lead to a full-bodied entry, silky mid-palate, ending with complex and long finish. This wine shows great structure and balance and is a classic Cabernet from a classic Napa Valley terroir.

2009 Ehlers Estate Sauvignon Blanc

The 2009 vintage brought us yeat another drought year, which is good for winegrapes, yet not so great for everything else. We had a beautiful, long gorwing season with no heat spikes. We were able to pick all of our Sauvignon Blanc during the cool of the night, at perfect ripeness, all by hand, all with our own Ehlers crew. 2009 is another in a string of great California vintages.

2006 Ehlers Estate St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon 1886

Our Cabernet Sauvignon “1886” is the ultimate expression of our estate’s terroir and our winemaking philosophy. This wine boasts notes of cassis, dark cherry, cigar, anisette, and caramel, with nuances of cola, cocoa, red apple skin, savory herbs, and vanilla. The wine’s full body and velvety tannins carry the flavors through the mid-palate and into the luxuriously long finish.
