A blend of our four red varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, it showcases the character of each grape and the distinctive terroir we have on our Estate vineyards. Each of the varieties shines and is distinct from each other. Our 2019 Ehlers Estate Portrait Red Blend is deep ruby. Aromas of raspberry, blueberries, Herbs de Provence, and violets. Earthy minerality with forest floor. Concentrated flavors, with a medium to full body and well-balanced tannin structure. Oak flavors of cedar, cigar box, and licorice integrate with the fruit. Long finish with balanced acidity.
The wine exhibits dusty aromas of dark and red berries, dry herbs, and spices in deep dark garnet. Black pepper and cedar, with hints of cherries, round out the nose. The first sip is earthy, mineral with pencil shaving and dust. Blueberries and dark chocolate accompany the long after taste.
Full body Cabernet that showcases a perfect expression of our distinctive site. In the nose, the wine has concentrated notes of ripe juicy dark berries, licorice, bay leaf, thyme, cedar, and leather. The palate is vibrant with long-lasting flavors of cassis, dark cherries, sweet chocolate, and spices, with a mineral post-taste. Full round tannins with a silky finish.

The 2022 Ehlers Estate Sylviane Rosé is a vibrant salmon pink rosé. Intense aromas of red fruit berries like strawberries and raspberries are accompanied by aromas of daisies, wild yellow flowers, and orange peel, and citrus.
The 2019 Ehlers Estate Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a luscious wine and a great representation of the Napa Valley. Deep purple, concentrated aromas of blackberries, mineral notes of graphite and smashed rocks, cedar, tobacco leaf, cassis, and dry herbs spice mix. Ample mouth feel, full-body, with firm tannins and great acid structure, that helps accentuate the flavors of berry compote, spices, and oak flavors like mocha. Very long finish.
The 2021 Ehlers Estate Sauvignon Blanc Dry Creek Valley is a medium yellow wine with intense aromas of stone fruit, Meyer lemon, anise, and guava. High acidity but silky mouthfeel due to the lees aging, flavors of cherimoya, mango, and lemon zest fill the mouth with some ginger. Very long, it leaves long-lasting flavors of the fruit and some spices.
The 2020 Ehlers Estate Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a very aromatic and expressive wine that brings all the structure and fruit character expected from a Napa Valley wine. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from our Estate vineyard dominate the blend, accompanied by Cabernet Sauvignon from carefully selected fruit from Mount Veeder and Napa vineyard sites. Deep purple, notes of blackberries, red plum, mineral notes of graphite and iron, with dark chocolate, cassis and dark cherries. Medium to full-body. Long, smooth finish in the palate.
Enjoyable now but will age well for 15-20 more years. Unfined/Unfiltered.
The 2022 Ehlers Estate Sauvignon Blanc is a pale-yellow wine with super intense aromas of peach, citrus, grapefruit, honeydew melon, vanilla, and white flowers. Mouthfeel is pleasantly velvety despite the tart acidity in the long finish. Freshly cut grass, lemon tart, orange candy, and lime zest, with some tropical peachy finish. Great mouthfeel and complexity, but vibrant acidity.
Full-bodied, juicy, dense, and intense, this vintage of 1886 will age and improve for decades. This wine is spicy, opulent, and complex, chewy with rich elegant tannins. Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cocoa, and exotic spices keep it interesting!
